Last Days of Spring

Summer doesn't officially start until June 21st - which sounds just about right when you take a look around these parts. The mountains are slowly turning green and we've had another brief snow fall this last weekend. We didn't mind so much.Summer break on the other hand has begun. This year a little early for us, bringing with it a quick visit from grandparents, a few stitches for my husband and a case of roseola for my 14 year old (how weird is that). We've had a great time playing hooky from all of our responsibilities - even planting the garden. The addition of a new bike at our house hasn't helped much either. So while summer hasn't officially started, our lazy summer days have. If you drive by and our lawn needs to be mowed or our weeds need to be pulled - feel free, we're probably off on a bike ride.
