Girl with Fish

This painting is hanging on the wall in the Room of Requirement aka my sewing room. I found it at a thrift store and just couldn't put it down. It has that Anne of Green Gables feel to it that just appeals to me down deep, ya know.

As I was sewing one day, I thought...is that a fish in her hair? I proceeded to call each person in the family into the room one at a time - "What's that in her hair?" Each time the answer came, "A Fish"

Now she's know as Girl with Fish.

Oh, and I made a pad for those patriotic people out there and in honor of memorial day.
